Spring is beginning to try and break through here in the UK. Still windy and chilly but at least there is some light in the evening now and some days the sky is blue and there’s a strange yellow ball of fire visible in the sky. It’s about this time of year I start to get twitchy to get out and shoot something a little more conceptual and artistic.

Seeing the world come to life after the winter obviously wakes my creative side. About a year ago I was lucky enough to work with the lovely Kairi on a shoot on the Denbigh moors. In all honesty we were a bit early in the year and it was freezing but Kairi soldiered on like a trooper and I love the results.

Kairi found the gowns from the awesome Duke St Bazaar in Liverpool and they were kind enough to lend them to us for the shoot
